Summary

For David Sheff, the life of his son, Nicolas, a sporty young man with a lively and cultivated mind, was already drawn: at his 18th birthday, Nic was promised a prestigious university career. But David's world collapses when he realizes that Nic started flirting with drugs secretly when he was 12 years old. From a casual consumer, Nic has become addicted to heroin and nothing seems to be possible to get him out of his addiction. Realizing that his son has become a complete stranger over time, David decides to do everything to save him. Confronting his own limits but also those of his family
