As part of its morning meetings, Le Festival International du Film d’Aubagne, Music & Cinema, invites you to a conference on the theme of sound atmosphere in the cinema and the launch of the sound library SONS DE FRANCE. How to identify, characterize and list these sounds that constitute the sound of the film and allow the audience a geographical, historical and narrative immersion? What are their most relevant descriptors, how to characterize these recordings to allow sound editors to effectively access the atmospheres best suited to their artistic vision?
Hosted by Jacques Sapiega, President of the Festival, Rémi Adjiman, Director of Satis (Aubagne) and Yoann Lubiato, maturation engineer for SATT Sud-Est, this round table will present all these issues. It will also be an opportunity to discover the brand new sound library SONS DE FRANCE, from the Satis Department and the Prism Laboratory and supported by SATT Sud-Est. Endowed with numerous innovations in sound bank research and indexing, this powerful research tool will soon be accessible to professionals.
