A Woman Captured

Hongrie/Allemagne, Documentaire, 89’, Numérique HD, 2017, 1er film

Summary

Being a slave in Europe today seems impossible. However, millions of people live in these conditions. Marish, 52 has been kept captive by a family for over 10 years now, exploited and abused by the woman for whom she toils as a housekeeper—entirely unpaid. She's forbidden to do anything without permission. She lost sights of what freedom looks like and can’t think of running away anymore. Finding courage in the director’s presence, she decides to escape this unbearable oppression and regain her freedom.
