One of the most prolific duos cinema has known will take off with the film Henri V. A second companionship will begin when Régis Wargnier solicits him for Indochine's musical composition. He will be nominated for a César for best music (1992).
In parallel, Patrick Doyle starts a Hollywood career where he will be known for his brilliant scores in Brian de Palma’s L'Impasse in 1993 or Ang Lee’s, Raison et sentiments in1995 (nominated for a Golden Globe, an Oscar and a BAFTA award), But it’s certainly thanks to the score of Harry Potter & La Coupe de Feu that Patrick Doyle will make himself known to the general audience. He will later ensure himself the status of a blockbuster composer through the original scores of Eragon, La Dernière légion, Thor or The Ryan Initiative… and let’s not forget, La Planète des singes : les origines of course Rebelle produce by Studios Disney.
